Our South Austin clients wanted to transform a dark, awkward bathroom into a brighter, more functional retreat with a large walk-in shower, soaking tub, and a more private toilet area. Working within the existing footprint, we rethought the layout to make better use of the room while creating a space that feels distinctive, comfortable, and highly functional.
The freestanding soaking tub and sculptural chandelier became the centerpiece of the room, giving the bathroom a strong visual focal point while reinforcing the relaxed, spa-like feel the clients wanted. Together, they bring warmth and personality to the space and help balance the clean lines of the new layout.
Rich green tile, warm wood cabinetry, brass fixtures, and earthy finishes give the bathroom a layered, collected feel. The mix of color, texture, and natural materials keeps the room inviting while still feeling polished and intentional.
The original bathroom felt cramped and disconnected, so the layout was carefully reworked to improve circulation and create clearly defined areas for bathing, showering, and everyday use. The new design balances openness with privacy while fitting everything the homeowners wanted into the existing footprint.
